Sierra Madre Resort and Convention Center

for my second post, i decided to share our trip to sierra madre in tanay, rizal... budget-wise, it is my recommended place to be relaxed and feel the nature without spending much money and time... yes, it is really in the sierra madre mountain ranges... with its great natural landscapes and mythology theme, surely you'll have a picture perfect memories that you can share with your friends...

in less than 2 hour-drive from antipolo passing thru the towns of teresa, morong and baras, the scenic view of sierra madre mountain in tanay will welcome you. open your side window if you have vehicle and let the cold fresh air blow your stress away... overstated huh?! but im sure about it! feels like you're in Tagaytay! anyways... Sierra Madre Resort and Convention Center is just along the national highway (right side after passing Pranjetto Hills Hotel and Resort).. We are actually in a roadtrip then (sampaloc route) and a picnic in sierra madre was the high-light of it. we rented a picnic table for 50pesos and another 50 pesos for sight-seeing per person... ill suggest bring your packlunch for i heard their menus are that expensive.. we bought our lunch in the restaurant just at the crossing of tanay town proper and sampaloc, there you can buy solo orders of viand in 35-50pesos, if you want desserts just walk 10 steps and you're in VistaBarista Coffee Shop for cakes and pastries...

Alabat, Quezon escapades

together with my NCBA friends, we had a four-day vacation in alabat island, quezon last april30-may3,2010. Sir eddie marvida's place in brgy caglate... its an island that holds the true meaning of clear and clean beaches, green and fresh scenery, warm and kind locals, great and healthy foods, and lots more... its not a boracay nor puerto galera but if you're after the clear ocean water, i definitely suggest this place... This is actually our second time to visit alabat, compared before i would say it improved a lot! with concrete roads and bridges and developed town proper.. but still you can see lots of old ancestral houses and simple living of the alabatenos... we trully enjoyed our stay sir ed!!! thanks so much! a promise is a promise! till next time!
